His team helped Dolby bring new ideas and creative thinking to the market in the form of Dolby Voice Room — a hardware and software solution equipped with intelligent features that adapt to you, not the other way around.

Packaging and User Experience

The new Dolby Voice Room solution, introduced in 2018,  for business conferencing required the creation of several assets related to the hardware.

Voron’s internal industrial designers, UX designers and visual designers collaborated to create Dolby branded packaging for each of the three hardware components — the Dolby Conference Phone, camera, and hub — in kraft boxes, as well as co-branded packaging in white for our partner service providers.

His designers created a sleek, elegant visual quick-start guide with minimal copy to emphasize ease of use.

The UI/UX team built a core interface for the Dolby Conference Phone used as a stand-alone product, as well as several custom-designed UIs for each major service provider’s Dolby Voice Room solution.

BRAND ASSETS

Voron’s team also helped the Dolby Voice business group redefine their strategy in important ways, including increasing emphasis on reseller channel sales, and launching a new video conferencing hardware solution. To support these shifts, his team drove a fresh look at the brand’s positioning, creative strategy, naming, messaging, graphic design, video content, photography, and other communications.

They  positioned the brand as an ingenious innovator in the space, and created thought leadership and product messaging that revolves around the idea of “intelligent perspective.” This idea then drove a new creative strategy — developed by a cross-functional team of strategists and creatives — for all key brand deliverables.

The system emphasizes the product to ensure people understand Dolby is in the video conferencing space, and to highlight the breakthrough industrial design. A graphic overlay treatment brings alive the intelligence of the solution that enables it to flex to people and places to give everyone a great conferencing experience. A product video and photography library make product education engaging and compelling.
