In 2017, Voron’s team launched their second original branded content called Escape. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in Aoril of 2017.
The creative objective was to capture the minds of consumers and align our brand with a bigger purpose and generate curiosity and desire for viewers to learn more about Dolby. This content is designed to be an incredible Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology demo, as well as inspire filmmakers to tell stories using Dolby technologies. The film had a coordinated launch focused around the world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. It has over one million views on YouTube and Dolby Access, showcasing Dolby Atmos. More than 40 partners have also leveraged Escape in their marketing and demonstrations of Dolby technologies.
It was a great collaboration with Grammy award-winning artist Imogen Heap and animation studio Moonbot Studios.
